It is one of the country's oldest vacation resorts and the inspiration for our fully functional Cape May Cottage Birdhouse. A top birding location, Cape May is famous for its award-winning beaches and historic Victorian structures.
  • Constructed of kiln-dried exterior grade plywood.
  • Pine shingled roof.
  • Ventilation & holes for drainage
  • Removable back wall for easy clean-out
  • Will attract wrens, finches, chickadees, titmice, and nuthatches.
  • Each house includes a removable wall at the back or bottom. This design makes it easy to clean before the next season.

  • Care Instructions: 
    • To help preserve the paint finish on this birdhouse, apply a marine-grade, UV-resistant (Spar) polyurethane that is formulated to protect painted surfaces and will not cause the white paint to yellow.
    • Please note that when exposed to outdoor conditions, natural weather will occur over time. Periodic maintenance and refinishing may be required to preserve the product's appearance and protective finish.
